WASHINGTON – “Rally Point,” an event to connect area veterans with services in their
communities, will be held on Friday, December 7, at the Gallatin Civic Center.

Rally Point is a free event open to all Tennessee veterans and their families and
will feature agencies and organizations with information on a number of
resources, including VA claim assistance, vocational rehabilitation, education,
employment, mental health, housing and business loans.

Rally Point is sponsored by the offices of U.S. Senators Bob Corker and Lamar
Alexander and U.S. Congressman Diane Black, as well as Sumner County Executive
Anthony Holt, Gallatin City Mayor Jo Ann Graves, the Tennessee Department of
Veterans Affairs and the Gallatin Civic Center.

The event will be the fourth in a series of Rally Point events organized by Senator
Corker’s office in an effort to provide veterans and their families with a
one-stop shop to access local resources. A combined 1,110 Tennesseans have
attended Rally Point events in Knoxville, Cookeville and Jackson.
