Junious Stone, International Security Assistance Force Headquarters Public Affairs, May 21. Galani invited a dozen coalition members to join him and other village elders for lunch following their visit of the village's 1.7 kilometer canal and micro-hydropower plant which has been in operation since January 2009. The installation of the unit was part of a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers contract awarded in late 2006 to Remote HydroLight and Advanced Engineering Associates International to construct 105 units in seven of 34 Afghan provinces.
