National Survey Shows Americans Want Online Tools to Help Manage Their Health Information
The 2012 version of NCI's Health Information National Trends Survey (HINTS) includes data showing that more Americans expect doctors' offices, hospitals and clinics to maintain health information in a sharable, electronic format. Conducted since 2003, HINTS measures how people access and use health information, with a specific emphasis on cancer.
