"In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, I would like to acknowledge the extraordinary contributions of Hispanic Americans to our great nation. As one of the fastest growing ethnic groups, the Hispanic community has contributed to the strength and prosperity of our nation. I will continue to work with my colleagues, from both sides of the aisle, to ensure that all Americans have access to jobs that pay a living wage, comprehensive healthcare, and essential entitlements, like Medicare and Social Security. America’s diversity is what makes it great, and the vibrancy of the Hispanic community has increased America’s greatness."
