2012 All-Forces women’s Softball teammates Army Sgt. Ashley Walker, Capt. Lindsey Gerheim, and 1st Lt. Alyson McWherter enjoy a moment together during the National Championships in September 2012 in Oklahoma City. The All-Forces Team consists of the best players from all branches of the armed forces and was selected from the 2012 Armed Forces Softball Championship Tournament. The soldiers wore Sgt. Brian Walker’s initials embroidered on armbands as a way to remember and honor him after he was killed in action in Afghanistan May 13.
