My office is more than happy to assist constituents with any issues regarding a federal agency. If you have a question or problem that involves an agency, I encourage you to contact either my Springfield District Office at (937) 325-0474 or my Lancaster District Office at (740) 654-5149 and they will track down the necessary information or make inquires for you.
The role of my office when assisting constituents with federal agencies is to make inquiries on your behalf with the respective agencies regarding your situation. This includes: finding out the status of a case, requesting additional information and requesting an expedited response or decision.
While my office can make inquiries on your behalf, we cannot guarantee a positive outcome in all situations. It is important to note that my office does not have any decision-making authority, and the administration has complete discretion concerning decisions on individual cases.
Steps you can take to determine in which district you reside.
Congressional courtesy, ethics rules and propriety dictate that each Member of Congress has the honor and responsibility to serve only his or her own constituents.
If you aren't sure which Congressional district you live in, please visit the U.S. House of Representatives homepage here, enter your nine digit zip code to determine who your representative is.
If you do not know the last four digits of your zip code, please visit the Postal Service ZIP Code Lookup page to find out.
Next fill out the necessary form, giving us permission to assist you.
Before my staff is able to assist you though, you will need to fill out the privacy form attached below, or call one of the District Offices to have a copy mailed to you for you to return to us. This form will give my staff your permission to make inquiries on your behalf with an agency.
If you would like to do your own research, you can start by looking for information on some of the federal Web sites you will find here.
If your particular issue does not fall under the jurisdiction of an agency, my staff can direct you to the appropriate non-federal agency, resources or services that may be helpful. You can also review these relevant links to State of Ohio and local government Web sites which you may find helpful.
