      Rueben Charles "Rube" Warnes (1875-1961), Great Britain middleweight boxer (75kg) with Lynn Amateur Boxing Club ("ABC"). Rube won an Olympic Bronze medal at the 1908 Summer Olympic Games in London. [1]

      He went onto win five Amateur Boxing Association of England ("ABA") National titles (1899, 1901, 1903) with Lynn ABC and one each with Gainsford ABC (1907) and Surrey Commercial Docks ABC (1910). [2]

      Rube, along with other boxers from the ABA, competed at Madison Square Garden, May 19-20, 1911. [3]

      Keeping the tradition alive, Anthony Ogogo, Great Britain middleweight boxer (75kg) with the Triple A Amateur Boxing Club, Lowestoft, won an Olympic Bronze medal at the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London. [1]
