Levin: GOP Continues Dead-End Attack on Obamacare

WASHINGTON – Ways and Means Committee Ranking Member Sander Levin (D-MI) today issued the following statement regarding the subpoena issued by Ways and Means Chairman David Camp for documents related to the Administration’s efforts to educate the public about health policies:

“The campaign is over. Instead of continuing their dead-end campaign attacks on health care reform, House Republicans should heed the declaration from Speaker Boehner that Obamacare is the law of the land. HHS is doing its job and making sure that Americans know their rights under the new law. Instead of making it harder for Americans to obtain affordable health insurance, Republicans should join with Democrats in Congress and focus on fully implementing the new law so that its benefits are realized by all Americans.”
