The Atlantic presents:

Washington Ideas Forum 2012 FREE LIVESTREAM

About This Event

A partnership between The Atlantic, the Aspen Institute, and the Newseum, and now in its fourth year, the Washington Ideas Forum has developed a distinct reputation for fostering creative thinking about critical issues by some of the most newsworthy figures of our day.

Building on its 2011 momentum with a roster of speakers such as Vice President Joe Biden, House Speaker John Boehner, Obama advisor Valerie Jarrett, and House Budget Committee Chair Paul Ryan, in addition to voices like Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz, Katie Couric, and Henry Kissinger, the 2012 Forum promises to set an even higher bar, with an increased ambition for audience size and thematic relevance and reach, offering unparalleled post-presidential election analysis, and continuing the tradition of dissecting the critical policy issues affecting our national identity and core values.

In 2012, the Forum will be bigger than ever, gathering an audience of over 700, including government officials, top business executives, global thought leaders, academics, and celebrities in a mix of programmatic elements. From curated roundtable conversations to cogent concurrent breakouts to main stage plenaries, the Forum is the place to hear - and meet - the most prominent thinkers of our time.
