“As a retired Marine Corps Colonel and a member of the House Armed Services Committee, I take a great deal of pride in the fine young men and women who serve our country,” said Kline, a 25-year veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps whose wife is a retired Army nurse and son has served three tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. “The caliber of Service Academy candidates in recent years has been consistently high, and I look forward to visiting with some of the 2nd district’s finest students at my service academy information day.”
