Go to AustinScott.house.gov for the full release: During a stop at Sam Dykes’ farm in Cochran, GA on the second day of the tour, the conversation turned to the impact the Estate Tax, commonly known as the “Death Tax”, would have on family farms. Mr. Dykes told Rep. Scott, "I'm sitting on my retirement-- this land. [The] Estate tax is going to impact us all. Agriculture is land rich and money poor. We can't afford for the Estate Tax to come back. Mr. Dykes went on to say, “You want to keep the family farm running?
