Maj. Gen. Norman J. Brozenick Jr. is the Commander, Special Operations Command Pacific, U.S. Pacific Command, Camp H. M. Smith, Hawaii.

General Brozenick entered the Air Force in 1983 as a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy. He served on the Joint Staff as special assistant, Assistant to the Chairman, on the Air Staff as Deputy Director, Air Force Studies and Analysis, Assessments and Lessons Learned (A9), and at the Joint Special Operations Command as Assistant Commanding General.

While commanding the 353rd Special Operations Group, he led tsunami relief efforts in Thailand and Indonesia as Commander, Combined Forces Special Operations Component, Combined Support Force 536. General Brozenick has also served as Commander, 1st Special Operations Wing, Hurlburt Field, Fla. In this capacity, he was also the Commander, Combined/Joint Special Operations Air Component, and Commander, 16th Expeditionary Special Operations Wing, controlling joint special operations aviation forces from three services supporting operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom.

Prior to his current assignment, he was the Director, Plans, Programs, Requirements  and Assessments, Headquarters Air Force Special Operations Command, Hurlburt Field, Fla.
