Maj. Gen. Henry C. "Hank" Morrow is the Senior Defense Official, Chief of Security Cooperation, and Defense Attaché at the U.S. Embassy, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. As the Senior Defense Official, General Morrow serves as the Secretary of Defense's principal military adviser to the U.S. Ambassador and to the UAE government. As the Chief of the Security Cooperation Organization, General Morrow serves both the Defense Security Cooperation Agency and U.S. Central Command overseeing military-to-military relations with the Emirati government to include all U.S. defense efforts to equip, maintain, train and sustain the armed forces of the United Arab Emirates. In addition, General Morrow is the Chief of Mission's single point of contact for coordinating administrative and security requirements for all Department of Defense elements in the UAE. His responsibilities include serving as the USCENTCOM Country Representative responsible for implementing and executing the Commander-in-Chief's Theater Engagement Plan to include the coordination of bilateral and multilateral operational plans and coalition contingency operations.

General Morrow received his commission through the ROTC program at Clemson University in 1977. An outstanding graduate of undergraduate pilot training, General Morrow has served as an F-111 and F-16 instructor pilot. His flying assignments include two tours in Europe, one in the F-111F and one in the F-16. After completing the USAF F-16 Fighter Weapons School in 1985, he was assigned to Hill Air Force Base, Utah, and served as both a squadron and wing weapons officer. His previous experience includes command positions at the squadron, group, wing and numbered air force levels. Prior to his current assignment, General Morrow was U.S. Continental Region NORAD Commander and 1st Air Force (Air Forces Northern) Commander.

General Morrow is a combat veteran and command pilot with more than 3,000 flying hours in trainer and fighter aircraft.
