Resources for Survivors
To get an idea of how home elevations are accomplished, there are two videos on FEMA’s website that illustrate how one homeowner’s residence was elevated. Part 1 describes the planning for the project, while Part II illustrates how hydraulic equipment was used to raise the home a few inches at a time off the ground.
