Unemployed constituents, spurned by Paul Ryan on multiple occasions, were galvanized into action the Tuesday following Labor Day. After being unable to convince their representative to schedule a FREE public meeting following a week long sit-in, the members of his district converged on a one time only pay-per-view event far away from the majority of his constituents.

At the luncheon, Paul Ryan's unemployed constituents repeatedly stood to ask him what he was going to do about the jobs crisis. But, instead of addressing his members in need, Ryan had the unemployed escorted out by police and made petty remarks.

In one incident, a gentleman in his seventies stood to confront Ryan about his stance on "entitlements" and was grabbed by police. He was then wrestled to the ground while Ryan joked, "Hope he took his blood-pressure medication."

Watch now and visit http://wisconsinjobsnow.org to demand Ryan hold a REAL meeting with his constituents.

  • It's absolutely disgusting how he laughs off the comments of these people, who paid their money to get into the luncheon just like everyone else. Dissenting voices have just as much of a right to be heard as the sycophants who agree with everything you say, Eddie Munster!

  • This isn't freedom but a narcissistic ass not answering questions and kicking those out that didn't agree. Then making fun of them!

  • They were being "civil" and in case you completely missed the point of this video, Ryan does not allow question sessions, especially if he already knows people disagree with him. He's a complete political opportunist who just happens to be running for high office at the moment, and if you don't have a lot of money to give him for it he does NOT care about you. Get real.

  • Honestly, I agree with the group that went in there, but seriously there has to be a better way to confront him. It is not cool to just barge in and interrupt his speech. Wait for a question session and be civil.

They did not go about addressing this properly.

  • Yeah people with no money should totally start new businesses during the worst economic period in decades. That is a smart thing to say and something that could really happen.

  • Really the guy at the end was arrested! They couldn't have just walked him out. He made a great point that goes for lots of older/retired/disabled workers he paid for these programs. The answer to our debt is not to eliminate people's life-supports, such as social security and medicare especially when they help fund them. Yes most people end up NEEDING to take out more than they put in but there's a better response than to stop these programs. A person's life should come before money ALWAYS!

  • Freakin' Fascist state. No more freedom of speech in the good old USA. Love you America but sure am happy that I moved back to Canada thirty odd years ago! (It is hitting us up here too but half as severely yet --- a harder landing is expected) I found this scene so disturbing that I just had to comment. My only grand-child is a Texan -- He is still a toddler so I am praying that his parents will bring him North once the Revolution begins. We must keep the Faith. -
