MRHS gym dedicated to Paul Breckell
The Monadnock Regional High School gymnasium will now bear the name of the late coach and teacher Paul Breckell, who spent 33 years with the school as faculty. Breckell passed away in April, 2016.

At every level of public schooling, the state has shown a stunning, short-sighted lack of support for the educational development, and the continued achievement, of its young people.
On Jan. 14, the Sentinel printed a letter from a reader who had heard “that it had been suggested trees be cut down so the steeple of the United Church of Christ can be seen as one comes into town.” The letter writer was “horrified” and asked others to join her in saying “no.”
