Package of the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division holding it's deployment ceremony at Brooks Field, Fort Knox, Ky., Thursday, Dec. 9. This is first time a unit of this size has deployed from Fort Knox in over ten years. The Brigade is deploying to Eastern Afghanistan to participate in Operation Enduring Freedom.
