CALEDONIA, Mich. (WOOD) - More than 200 Michigan Army National Guard soldiers from the Wyoming-based 126th Cavalry Squadron returned home Friday.
They recently completed a 12-month tour of duty in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. While in Afghanistan, the squadron completed a variety of missions based on the needs of the theatre commander, according to a news release.
Two homecoming ceremonies occurred at the Caledonia High School gymnasium for Headquarters, Delta Troop and Alpha Troop.
The Squadron is headquartered in Wyoming and has units in Cadillac, Manistee and Dowagiac.
