AUTHORITY: Privacy Act of 1974 (as amended) 5 U.S.C., Section 552a.
PRINCIPAL PURPOSE(S): To support various activities of the Joint Task Force-National
Capital Region Joint Team Parade (JTM Parade) planning and execution of the 57th U.S. Presidential Inaugural Parade
and other Presidential Inaugural events.
ROUTINE USE(S): Information will be disclosed to other Federal, state, local, and private
organizations outside of the region, the JTM Parade and the Department of Defense for purposes related to the planning
and execution of the 2013 Presidential Inaugural Parade. These organizations include, but are not limited to, the
Presidential Inaugural Committee (PIC), U.S. Secret Service and U.S. Park Service. Application materials may be
retained as part of historical records and may be referenced in the planning of future inaugurations beyond the 2013 event.
MANDATORY OR VOLUNTARY DISCLOSURE: Providing personal information is voluntary. However, if
the requested information is not given, interested media outlets, as well as the JTM Parade and PIC public affairs personnel
may be unable to contact participating organizations.
I acknowledge that submission of this application does not guarantee selection to participate in the 2013 Presidential
Inaugural Parade or any other inaugural event. I also understand that the Presidential Inaugural Committee (PIC), a
non-profit, private organization working on behalf of the president-elect, is tasked with the responsibility of organizing
all inaugural events at the discretion of the President-Elect. All applications are collected and organized by the JTM Parade
for review by the PIC. However, the PIC is the only entity authorized to decide who will be invited to participate in the
inaugural parade.
I understand that if my group is selected to participate in the parade or other inaugural events, my group will be responsible
for all logistics, funding, and costs associated with participation to include, but not limited to, transportation, lodging
and meals. I understand that all applications and submitted media become the property of the U.S. Government and will not be
returned to the applicant.

Disclosure of name, address, e-mail, and phone number is voluntary. However, applications will not be processed without a valid
point of contact, mailing address, and telephone number since the PIC and the JTM Parade must contact applicants in order to
notify groups of their status and provide/solicit additional parade-specific information.
All applications are collected and organized for initial review by the JTM Parade. However, the PIC is the only entity authorized
to decide who will be invited to participate in the inaugural parade.
