    "The Philadelphia left to-day ... Deputy Sheriff Henderson brought on board Florentino, wanted for a shooting In lllinois."

    So Bolobilly is right. And this picture would likely have been taken when the Philadelphia docked. But no clues here as to who the other gentleman is.

    And that might even be the key to the handcuffs sticking out of the Sheriff's right hand.
    I think the fellow's name is Fiorentino, if I read the newspaper correctly.
