AKA Myer Nussbaum; referee appointed to hear testimony in the state hearings about conspiracy among New York's wholesale bakeries. Myer Nussbaum was a lawyer and a state Senator representing Albany.

I didn't find any sources for "Meyer" as a correct spelling, so I think we have to write this off to a mistake by the Bain captioner. Nussbaum (a Republican who had also been a judge in Albany as well an Assemblyman before serving as state Senator 1895-8) was the first Jewish graduate (1877) of Albany Law School.
