Located in the Special Collections Research Center (SCRC), Chicago Jazz Archive collections are used in the Center's Reading Room on the First Floor of Regenstein Library.

ANNOUNCEMENTS
- The 2009 Hyde Park Jazz Festival will take place on Saturday Sept. 26th. The schedule and the lineup can be found on the Festival website. The Special Collections Research Center is a member of the Hyde Park Alliance for Arts and Culture, which produces the festival.
- Court Theatre presents August Wilson's Ma Rainey's Black Bottom Sept. 17- Oct. 18, 2009. All kinds of educational information is provided on the Court's website, including a play study guide for students, a blog with all kinds of info to help enjoy the historical and musical background of the play. Tickets are available from the Court Theatre website or call the box office at 773-753-4472 M-Sat 12noon-5pm, 12noon-curtain on performance days.
- Video is available from the Sun Ra symposium, Traveling the Spaceways, which took place at the Hyde Park Art Center November 11-12, 2006.
- Online exhibit, Harvey Lang: A Life In Jazz". The exhibit showcases a selection of materials collected by Chicago drummer Harvey Lang and generously donated to the Chicago Jazz Archive by his children.
