Rooney Presents Veteran's Family with WWII Medals

Congressman Rooney presents the family of Private Richard Willing with the Purple Heart he earned in World War II. Rooney helped the family work with the Army to receive the medals and ensure that PFC Willing receives the honor and recognition he deserves. Congressman Rooney presents World War II veteran and Port Charlotte resident Paul Grube with long overdue medals earned during his service. Congressman Rooney's office worked with the Department of Defense, Department of the Army and VA to ensure that Mr. Grube received the recognition he deserved, and presented the medals to him at a Flag Day Ceremony in Punta Gorda. Congressman Tom Rooney represents Florida's 16th District. He serves on the House Armed Services, Intelligence and Agriculture Committees, and is Chairman of the Subcommittee on Livestock, Dairy and Poultry.
