“The American people have spoken -- the era of Congressional gridlock and partisan obstructionism is over. Starting immediately, Republicans and Democrats in Congress must work with President Barack Obama to move our country forward by rebuilding the middle class, growing our economy and responsibly reducing the federal deficit with a balanced approach. America cannot afford another two years of 'my way or the highway' governing. It's time to get to work.”
