About the Museum:
The mission of the Marian Koshland Science Museum is to help people use science to solve problems in their communities.
The Museum's state-of-the-art exhibits, public events, and educational programs, provide information that stimulates discussion and provides insight into how science supports decision-making.
The Koshland Science Museum received the 18th Annual Communicator Awards’ Award of Distinction for the advertising campaign, Interact with the Issues. The campaign was a collaboration between the museum and Levine and Associates, Washington, D.C.

Last month we challenged web visitors to show how their communities are finding ways to lower their greenhouse gas emissions and prepare for the impacts of climate change. Our judges have reviewed the entries and selected two finalists. Now, it is your turn to choose the best overall tour.
Oct. 9, 2012—WASHINGTON—The Koshland Science Museum has been selected as one of four urban learning network hubs for a multi-city project focused on connecting global climate change to local communities. Hubs include Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, New York City and Washington, D.C.
