      Congressman Broun, I just wanted to say thank you for your recent assistance. I contacted your office when I could not get resolution from an issue with the IRS. My husband and I filed our taxes in April. We were told someone had filed with his SSN & we would have to mail in our return and await an investigation. We were first told it would be max 90 days, which turned into 120 days, which then turned into 7 months. In October, I called for an update and was told it would be at minimum another 3 months to even be assigned to an agent. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told "you can't complain about the IRS; talk to your Congressman." So I did. You responded to my email immediately and today I was told my return was being issued. Thank you for your help!
