Broun Encourages Teachers to Focus on ‘Constitution Week’

U.S. Congressman Paul Broun, M.D. (GA-10) kicked off “Constitution Week” by sending a letter to all elementary and middle schools in the 10th Congressional District encouraging teachers to take an hour out of their school day this week to highlight the importance of the Constitution.
“On this day more than 200 years ago, our Founding Fathers signed the Constitution – a document designed to forever protect our precious liberty,” said Congressman Broun. “It is so critical that our educators not only in Georgia, but all across this nation teach our youth about the importance of constitutionally-limited government as our Founders meant for it to be. I’m eager to hear what students in the 10th Congressional District have learned about the Constitution, so I’m asking that they write to me to tell me more about what this document means to them.”
