McCarthy Statement on October Jobs Report

Washington D.C. – House Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy (CA-22) released the following statement regarding this morning’s employment report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics:

“The current level of job growth is nowhere near what is needed to get America working at its full potential, and it is yet another example of how the President’s economic policies are failing the American people. This morning’s report underscores the overall weakness of our economy, and the need to prevent the President’s and Senate Democrats’ massive tax hikes on hardworking families and small businesses on the first of January. We can’t afford for this Administration to continue to dig its heels into the ground with economic policies that have already been proven so disastrous.”
