CONGRESSMAN RICK BERG PRESENTS SUPERIOR, INC. WITH U.S. DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE’S EXPORT ACHIEVEMENT CERTIFICATE

Kindred, ND – Congressman Rick Berg today presented the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Export Achievement Certificate to Superior, Inc. – a manufacturer and transporter of grain storage and handling products based in Kindred.   The award recognizes businesses that have expanded to new foreign markets utilizing U.S. Commercial Service export assistance. 

“Grain storage and drying capability is critical to our farmers in North Dakota and Superior is building bins and dryers right here to fill that need,” stated Berg. “I applaud the owner of Superior, Clair Rauser, for his commitment to creating good North Dakota jobs for over 30 years.  He is certainly deserving of this award, and now with the help of the US Commercial Service, he will be working to supply the world – and that’s exciting!”

The company was selected for this award because they have transformed into a pro-active exporter in a short period of time, according to U.S. Commercial Service North Dakota Director Heather Ranck.

“The company is doing all the right things, making the appropriate investments and diligently following up on the leads they uncover,” stated Ranck. “They are truly deserving of this recognition.”

Since 1977, Superior, Inc. of Kindred, ND has delivered and installed high quality grain storage and handling systems to thousands of customers across the Midwest and beyond. In recent years they have sold and installed 350 bins annually, and is one of the largest grain bin dealers in the Midwest.

The Export Achievement Certificate was created to recognize small and medium-sized enterprises that have successfully entered the international marketplace for the first time or that have successfully entered a new market.
