H.Res. 1546 is expected to be considered on the floor of the House on Thursday, September 23, 2010, under a motion to suspend the rules, requiring a two-thirds majority vote for passage.  The legislation was introduced Rep. Jay Inslee (D-WA) on July 21, 2010.

H.Res. 1546 would resolve that the House of Representatives:

  • “Congratulates the Washington Stealth for winning the National Lacrosse League Championship; and
  • “Recognizes the achievements of the players, coaches, students, and support staff who were instrumental in the victory.”

According to the resolution’s findings, on May 15, 2010, the Washington Stealth defeated Toronto Rock 15 to 11 in the National Lacrosse League Championship in Everett, Washington.
