Mrs. REL Mordecai would be more likely... Robert E. Lee Mordecai (1870-1923) was a real estate broker in New York in the 1900s and 1910s. According to the 1908 Social Register for NY (thanks Google Books), that makes her the former Miss Nellie E. King of Brooklyn. Mordecai was her second husband; she divorced Mr. Moore, her first.
