Boustany Proud to See Cameron Parish Rebuilding Cornerstones of Community

(Washington, DC) – Congressman Charles W. Boustany, Jr., M.D., (R-South Louisiana) released the following statement today after the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) announced a grant totaling $4.7 million was awarded to Cameron Parish to replace contents damaged throughout its library system during Hurricane Rita:

“This grant serves as a prime example of the on-going process involved with hurricane recovery. This award allows for Cameron Parish to successfully rebuild and replace cornerstones of its community. In receiving this lump sum, the Cameron Parish Library System will be in the best position to address areas of concern. I am proud to see FEMA partnering with Cameron Parish in rebuilding areas affected by natural disasters in South Louisiana.”
