Provide for the Common Defense

Our military faces a strained force and looming defense cuts that will impact its basic ability to provide for the common defense.

This video Armed Services Committee Chairman Buck McKeon highlights this serious issue and its potential impact on our national security. In the video, Chairman McKeon asks “what if we’re attacked in some other area, what is our military going to be able to do if we keep cutting it…”

    I think we should all consider that it will never happen to us. 911 victims likely felt the same before their lives and the loves ones they left behind were shattered. Remember the never will happen is spoken by victims as well.

    The last words of it will never happen to us is also spoken by the Victims that it has happened. Remember, Pearl Harbor, Oklahoma bombing, Virginia Tec massacre,and the upcoming remembrances of 911. Security is a worldly fight.
