WASHINGTON, D.C. – Montana’s Congressman, Denny Rehberg, today released the following statement commemorating the 11th Anniversary of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.

“Today, our nation pauses to remember the senseless and cowardly September 11th terrorist attacks.  We reflect on those who died, including the heroic first-responders who came to the aid of their fellow Americans.  And we must also remember the ongoing sacrifice of our men and women in uniform whose service has allowed Americans to go about our daily lives free from the fear of another attack.  To those who gave and those who continue to give, the gratitude of a nation is with you.”
