Today, September 11, 2007, Congressman Brian Higgins (NY-27) joined Ambassador Anne W. Patterson and his colleagues in Congress, Representatives Stephen F. Lynch (MA) and Todd Platts (PA) at the United States Embassy in Islamabad, Pakistan for a memorial ceremony recognizing the lives lost during the terrorist attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001. 

Congressman Higgins left on Sunday for a week-long Congressional trip to Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Chad. Congressman Higgins is traveling with colleagues on the House of Representatives Government Reform Subcommittee on National Security, Emerging Threats and International Relations.
