Washington, D.C. – U.S. Congressman Mike McIntyre announced today that Coastal Horizons Center in Wilmington has received a $1.6 million federal grant.
  
Congressman McIntyre stated, “Coastal Horizons Center is on the front lines each and every day helping citizens and building a better community.  These federal funds will help them continue their core mission of ‘promoting choices for healthier lives’ and providing services of those in need. Congratulations to Margaret Weller-Stargell and all the great folks at Coastal Horizons for their work in securing these funds.”
  
The $1.6 million congressionally-appropriated funds were awarded through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to Coastal Horizons for mental health and substance abuse services.
