WASHINGTON (DC) – Congressman Ben Quayle released the following statement on the 11^th anniversary of the September 11^th terrorist attacks.

“Today I join all Americans as we remember the tragic and infamous attacks of September 11^th, 2001.  On that terrible day, we saw the worst of humanity -- mindless hatred, violence and malice.  We also saw the best of humanity and the best of America -- the courage of our first responders, the resilience of our citizens and the stalwart resolve of our nation.

“We must never forget the thousands who tragically lost their lives in these attacks, or the brave men and women of our military who have been killed or wounded since that awful day as they fight for freedom and justice.”
