Recently in Washington

Last week the House passed H.R. 6079, the Repeal of Obamacare Act, which repealed the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010.  The House also passed H.R. 4402, the National Strategic Critical Minerals Production Act of 2012 which streamlines approval of domestic mineral exploration and development.  Congressman Simpson supported passage of both bills.

At 10:00 a.m. Congressman Simpson will attend the subcommittee markup of the House Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education Appropriations Bill for Fiscal Year 2013.
