Congressman Scott Tipton to Speak at 2012 Capitol Christmas Tree Harvest Near Meeker

Congressman Scott Tipton (CO-03) will attend and speak at the 2012 U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree harvest on Friday, November 2.  Tipton is scheduled to speak at approximately 10:00 a.m. (MT). The 73-foot Engelmann Spruce will be harvested approximately 40 miles east of Meeker on Country Road 8, and then taken to Meeker for a celebration on Saturday before embarking on a tour through Colorado, and then across the country as it makes its way to Washington, D.C.
