Carter to Tackle ATF Overreach tomorrow on C-SPAN Washington Journal

For immediate release: July 14, 2011

(WASHINGTON, DC) – Congressman John Carter (R-TX) will appear live on C-SPAN Washington Journal tomorrow (Friday) morning to discuss his successful amendment to the Commerce, Justice, and Science Appropriations bill to block ATF implementation of a ban on imported shotguns.  Carter is also expected to address the controversial ATF “Fast and Furious” sting operation that ended up providing hundreds of assault weapons to Mexican drug cartels.

Carter is scheduled to appear from 7:40-8:15am EST (640-715 Central).  Washington Journal can be viewed online at http://www.c-span.org/Series/Washington-Journal/ and on most cable systems.
