CARDOZA RETIREMENT

Washington D.C.:  Chairman Charles A. Gonzalez (TX 20) made this statement regarding the announcement that Rep. Dennis Cardoza (CA-18), Chair of the CHC Housing Task Force, would resign from office.

His commitment to fighting the foreclosure crisis, which deeply impacted his district, led to his role as a champion for the rights of homeowners across the country. His leadership and friendship will be missed in our caucus and with his colleagues throughout the House.”
