Cherryland

This unincorporated area of Hayward is governed locally by the County of Alameda. This community of approximately 15,000 residents shares close commercial ties with the City of Hayward. Cherryland is home to Hayward Adult School, one of the largest adults schools in the state serving 19,000 students. Additionally the children of Cherryland attend schools in the Hayward Unified School District. Active members of the community meet regularly to address neighborhood improvements, crime, and land use issues.
