Veterans Advisory Board
The Veterans Advisory Board consists of a diverse cross section of the First Congressional District’s veteran population. From enlisted to officer; from infantry to JAG, the members represent each branch of the armed services, including the United States Coast Guard. Board Members are local officeholders of national veterans’ organizations, such as the American Legion, the Vietnam Veterans of America and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Veterans Advisory Board meetings include legislative updates from Congressman Bishop and feedback from members on issues that affect veterans and their families. These forums enable the Congressman to best serve the veterans of the First District.
