(2/18/07) At Camp Arafjan in Kuwait, Senator Corker listened to a U.S. soldier explain the defense systems attached to armed personnel carriers used in Iraq. The apparatus in the foreground is an IED (improvised explosive device) jammer on the front end of an up-armored HUMMV.
(2/18/07) In Baghdad, Lieutenant General Odierno briefed Sen. Corker and members of the Congressional delegation on weapons used by enemy insurgents in Iraq.
