Washington, D.C.– U.S. Representative Charles W. Boustany, Jr., (R-Southwest Louisiana), today was awarded the Family Research Council’s “True Blue” Award for family-focused votes.

 

“Protecting Southwest Louisiana families and most vulnerable is our responsibility,” Boustany said. “I am proud of my record of standing for family values, and I will continue to fight for Louisiana’s most vulnerable.”

 

The award honors Members of Congress who have exhibited extraordinary leadership and commitment to the defense of family, faith, and freedom, according to FRC Action’s new scorecard covering House and Senate votes during the 1st session of the 110^th Congress. Recipients of the award voted consistently for pro-life and pro-family issues.
