Performance and Accountability Reporting
GAO’s Performance and Accountability Report describes the agency’s performance measures, results, and accountability processes for the fiscal year. In assessing our performance, we compare actual results against the targets and goals that were set in our annual performance plan and performance budget and that were developed to help carry out our strategic plan.
The report provides an overview of GAO’s mission, strategic planning process, organizational structure, strategies we use to achieve our goals, and the process for assessing our performance. It includes agencywide performance results and financial information for the recently ended fiscal year.
