Honored to be representing the people of Eastern Washington in Congress. Lived the American Dream -- grew up on a farm and worked at my family's business, Peachcrest Fruit Basket in Kettle Falls for 13 years. First in my family to graduate from college (1990). Worked my way through college including at McDonalds and as a maid at Benny's motel in Colville. Still paying off student loans after completing Exec MBA at UW in 2002.

Served in the Washington State House (1994-2004). Elected House Minority Leader in 2002.

Married to Brian Rodgers and we have two wonderful children, Cole and Grace.
