Congressman Tim Murphy participates in a wreath laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknowns at Arlington National Cemetery with local World War II veterans from Greensburg, PA.
Prior to the beginning of the wreath laying ceremony, the veterans and Congressman Murphy take a moment to reflect on the service and sacrafice of the Greatest Generation.
Congressman Murphy, WWII veterans, and the commander of the Old Guard approach the Tomb of the Unknowns to begin the wreath laying ceremony.
Many veterans had never seen the WWII Memorial or been to Arlington National Cemetery. Speaking with Congressman Murphy, many expressed their appreciation for this opportunity.
During the Changing of the Guard ceremony, the commander of the Old Guard examines a soldier's riftle.
While talking to the veterans on the trip, Congressman Murphy has the opportunity to hear many of the great stories they had to share from their time during the war.
Congressman Murphy had the opportunity to meet many of the veterans on the trip and thank them for their service.
Approximately 100 veterans from around Greensburg arrive at the Tomb of the Unknowns in Arlington National Cemetery.

Members of the Old Guard stand over the wreath presented by the Pennsylvania veterans.
The wreath presented by the veterans from Pennsylvania sits in front of the Tomb of the Unknowns. The inscription on the Tomb reads, "Here Rests in Honored Glory an American Soldier Known but to God."
