As we approach our 40th year of providing supportive service to our area veterans and their families, we are afforded the opportunity to reflect upon our successes and expand upon the evolutionary growth of Veterans Outreach Center. Veterans Outreach Center has received national recognition from the White House as a model program in an incredible community of collaborative partners. We are an organization that positively impacts our veterans and their families everyday by working collaboratively with great like-minded organizations. We are very proud of this recognition and even more proud to be part of this great community.
Regardless of our success, our work continues. As the wars wind down, thousands of veterans are returning home and are in immediate need of our essential services. Veterans Outreach Center must remain poised to meet this challenge head-on. Today our funding model is based on a formula heavily reliant upon federal grants. Under my leadership we are establishing a legacy fund to unleash us from the unpredictable ebb and flow of government programs. Now, more than ever, we need the community’s support to build a sustainable Veterans Outreach Center that will endure the tests of time. Please click on the ways to donate to learn more. With a secure financial future we will assure that essential services are always available for our veterans and allow us to continue “to serve those who served U.S.” for the next 40 years and beyond.
