Dear Friend of Agriculture,
As a member of the agricultural community in my district, I want to personally invite you to join me as I host an Agricultural Summit at Lincoln College on Tuesday, August 7, 2012. Also attending the summit will be the Chairman of the House Agriculture Committee, Congressman Frank Lucas of Oklahoma. Agriculture is the number one employer in the 18th district. As you know, the Ag community is also one of the most dynamic and adaptable industries in our country; meaning farmers have to deal with everything from drought conditions to flooding. On top of that, you are asked to navigate the endless amounts of red tape and regulations that Washington bureaucrats continue to hand down. The Ag Summit will be an opportunity to bring everyone together and discuss the top concerns and issues you face - so that we can solve them together. Respectfully, Aaron You are cordially invited

The Summit is open to the public. The Ag expo will be an opportunity for agriculture-affiliated organizations and businesses to have booths to discuss agriculture related issues with participants. The program will include remarks by myself and Chairman Lucas. |
